KPA-51 Resilient Adhesive for Hard Flooring and Vinyl-Backed Carpet Tile
KPA-51 Resilient Adhesive for Hard Flooring and Vinyl-Backed Carpet Tile
Description
Kraus KPA-51 is a premium, pressure sensitive adhesive with an aggressive bond, designed specifically for installation of luxury / solid vinyl tiles and planks. Its high shear and peel strengths make it the best choice for installing large format tile / planks, stone plastic composite (SPC) and wood plastic composite (WPC) flooring. Kraus KPA-51 forms a tenacious bond, while withstanding up to 10 lbs. Moisture Vapor Emission Rate (MVER) and 90% Relative Humidity (RH). This versatile adhesive can be applied with a releasable or permanent installation method and has exceptional plasticizer migration resistance. It is suitable for heavy commercial traffic, non-flammable, and offers antimicrobial protection that inhibits the growth of mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria. For best results, ensure that the substrate, flooring material and adhesive are fully acclimated, at the same temperature and humidity level expected during normal use, prior to installation. Spread with a 1/16 in. x 1/16 in. x 1/16 in. square-notch trowel, 1/16 in. x 1/16 in. x 3/32 in. U-notch trowel, 1/16 in. x 1/32 in. x 1/32 in. U-notch trowel or a 3/8 in. medium nap roller, depending on floor type.
